A Twitch extension for League of Legends streams. Viewers hover the video to follow the game the way the streamer sees it: both teams, items, runes, objectives, and player cards.
What viewers see
Everything on the streamer's own scoreboard, plus public pre-game information about the players.
The full scoreboard
Both teams side by side by role, with champions, levels, K/D/A, CS, items, trinkets, summoner spells, and runes.
Objectives
Team kills, the game clock, dragons and the Dragon Soul, Void Grubs, and spawn timers for Grubs, Herald, Dragon, Elder, and Baron.
Hover cards
What an item, rune, summoner spell, or objective does.
Always optional
It appears when a viewer hovers the video and closes with one click. Nothing covers the stream by default.
Player cards
Hover a player for their solo queue rank, mastery on the champion they're playing, and their last 5 games.
It all comes from Riot's official API, custom games are left out, and streamers can switch cards off in Tabline Companion.
How it works

The streamer runs Tabline Companion
A Windows app that reads League's own live game data while they play, the same data behind the in-game scoreboard.

The board goes out to Twitch
Within about a second of anything changing, the latest scoreboard is sent to the streamer's channel.

Viewers hover the video
The Tabline extension shows the board over the stream. Viewers install nothing.
Player data and fair play
Tabline follows Riot Games' developer policies. In practice, that means:
Nothing the streamer can't see
The scoreboard mirrors what the streamer has on their own screen, without cooldowns, jungle timers, or anything the game keeps hidden.
Official data only
Player cards use Riot's official APIs for rank, mastery, and match history, never an invented rating or MMR estimate.
No custom games
Custom games are never shown in a player's recent games.
Hidden players stay hidden
Players the game hides are never looked up.
Streamers are in control
Player cards can be turned off in Tabline Companion.
Short-lived data
Player card data is kept in memory for up to 30 minutes and match data for up to a day. The list of players in a game is deleted when the game ends.
No ads, no data selling
Tabline is free.

Tabline is in private testing. Email your Twitch channel and region, and you'll get the installer and setup steps back.
Needs Windows, League of Legends, and a Twitch channel. Once it's released, the extension will be listed in Twitch's extension directory.

Do viewers need to install anything?
No. The scoreboard appears in the Twitch player.
Does it work on mobile?
Twitch doesn't show video overlay extensions on mobile, so it's desktop viewers only.

Does it cost anything?
No. Tabline is free for streamers and viewers.
